We are an authorized distributor for the original developer who developed this product for Motorola, but because of business issues, Motorola never sold this product to the public after development. We are the only authorized distributor in the US.

The current developer is in the Motorola Application Development Program (ADP).

NOTE: Buyer is responsible for compatibility, please make sure you have the OPTION BOARD installed (see the OPTION BOARD tab).

When you place your order, please confirm:

1) That the option board is installed in the radio as tested in accordance with our procedure as specified in “Option Board” Tab.

2) IN ORDER TO PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT, YOU MUST BE CONSIDERED BY YOUR PEERS TO BE A SOPHISTICATED COMPUTER USER. You must be able to use email, download and extract zip files, screen sharing programs, Windows Explorer, etc.

3) AFTER THE PRODUCT IS DOWNLOADED, NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED IF YOUR CPS GENERATION, FIRMWARE OR RADIO MODEL IS NOT COMPATIBLE, OR IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO COMPLETE THE INSTALLATION PROCESS IN OUR ABSOLUTE DISCRETION.

20/25 kHz Channel Bandwidth License Key (commonly referred to as a wide band entitlement key).

Applicable to MOTOTRBO™ HKVN4622 Customer Programming Software (CPS) Radio Management (RM) Version (this is the enterprise version that allows for WifI programming and should not be confused with the standard CPS version HKVN4362. The wide band key for the standard CPS version can be found here:

MOTOTRBO™ CPS HKVN4046 HKVN4046A Wideband EID

This is an application feature and not a device feature (not installed on the device), so this wideband entitlement key installs on your computer and is good for the life of the computer and allows you to program an unlimited number of radios and unlimited number of times. This EID is available for a nominal charge from Motorola with a valid subscription and the proper training/documentation. The charge for this 24/7 service and support is to help cover some of our labor costs.

EIDs are generally returned via email in a few hours, provided the Motorola server has no downtime.

We also provide lifetime installation and support.

This is an application feature and not a device feature (not installed on the device), so this wideband entitlement key installs on your computer and is good for the life of the computer and allows you to program an unlimited number of radios and unlimited number of times. This EID is available from Motorola for a small fee with a valid subscription and the proper training/documentation. The charge for this 24/7 service and support is to help cover some of our labor costs.

EIDs are generally returned via email in a few hours, provided the Motorola server has no downtime.

We also provide installation and lifetime support for the NEW AUTHENTICATION PROCESS Motorola instituted recently in June 2023. You must have a Motorola Solutions personal account or business 10 digit account for the purposes of authentication or we can set up an accommodation account for you at no additional charge (please notify us when you place your order). We walk you through and support you through the entire authentication process.
